More seriously, Mila's room had a major problem during last Summer and Winter: Too hot or too cold...and Mila always ended up in our bed, every single night!!!
To address this, I decided to "finish" my garage, which basically means, insulate the walls, paint them and fix sufficient number of shelfs.
It is not super difficult to do this but it was my very first dry-wall installation!!!
The first phase was to add a few power plugs, just for convenience:
...then the insulation:
...followed by the dry-wall...
...more dry-wall...
...and finally the joint compound to smooth things up:
The second phase was to do the same, but on the other side of the garage:
Overall, it took me about 4-5 days of work. Not easy to carry those 8x4 feet dry-wall board!!! For the story, I ended up on the following Monday at my Chiropractor ;-(
...but it was really worth it.
