OMG!!! Five years old! Time really flies...and I remember like if it was yesterday:

Anyway, today is a big day and Mila decided to celebrate her birthday at home. 

The theme: "Cup Cake decorating"

1 March 2014 - Beautiful homemade cakes by Wai Leng

Wai Leng has taken some cake decorating lessons and she is now making beautiful cakes.

The courses were at the "Emily Griffith Technical College" downtown Denver.

Here are a few cakes Wai Leng has made from "scratch":

Here is the one she had to do for the final examination. This represent a lot of work in crafting each petal and carefully build each flower. Then, powder-paint the flower to make it more real. Look by yourself, this is beautiful!!

This is the very first order for a baby shower (Rania's mum) that Wai Leng made. I captured most of the steps...

The is the base of the cake with the butter-cream all around so that the fondant paste will stick well.
