27 March 2015 - Mila's Cookies

Mila received a pretty cool both for her birthday and since this is a nice weekend, we set it up in front of the garage! Mila also spent some time helping out making the cookies and prepare some home made limonade!!

20 March 2015 - Mila's 6th birthday party!

Mila now officially spent more time in Colorado than in Switzerland: 2.5 years in Lausanne, the rest in Colorado!!!

6 year old...oh man...the little princess keeps growing and growing and is now about to start Grade-1 (in September!!).

This year, we decided to celebrate at Jungle Quest!!

This is a pretty cool place for kids with rock climbing, Zip line, etc... 

6 year old and so many presents :-) Happy girl!!

01 March 2015 - Eric and Frank in Colorado (Colorado 2015)

This is sooooo cool to have Eric and Frank back in Colorado for a super exciting ski trip!!
This time, we decided to explore new areas...in the search of the best snow in Colorado.

 The initial plan was the following:

1. Crested Butte, CO - 3 days
2. Telluride, CO (To Hell You Ride) - 3 days
3. Wolf Creek, CO - 2 days

We had to drop "Durango, Mountain Resort" due to lack of time... (next time)

Eric and Frank arrived on March 1st, and we almost immediately drove up via the 285. First stop expected somewhere Monarch Pass (160 miles / 260 km, about 3hours). The drive was really challenging with a really heavy snow storm!!! We finally made it a found a motel on top of the Monarch pass (Monarch Mountain Lodge).

The next morning, we woke up super early as we had to reach CB before opening time!!

Crested Butte Mountain Resort

Date: March 2nd to March 4th, 2015

Telluride Mountain Resort

Date: March 4th to March 7th, 2015

Lodging: VRBO

It was another long drive from Crested Butte to Telluride (160 miles / 260 km, about 3 hours) but the road was really beautiful!!

Here are a few pictures of our stay in this beautiful area that really looks like a little Switzerland!! Ans again, we had a gorgeous stay with great snow and ever-blue-sky!!

Wolf Creek Resort

Lodging: South Fork, CO

Telluride was by far the best ski resort I have been in the US. Steamboat is pretty close...

Wolf Creek is fairly small and more a family ski resort but it was fun to be there and enjoy this last resort of our trip in CO.

 Wonder why I could not find another pictures...crap. Never mind, all the memories are in my head and it was really really cool to have my best buddies in Colorado. We need to do it again but it looks like it going to be a CO-2017, yet to be confirmed.
