Today is going to be a long, long day!!! Our movers arrived perfectly on time, at 08:00. We organized ourselves to have Mila at Crème the entire week so that to have plenty of time during our move.

Wai Leng and I had already packed most of the our "stuff" and what remains to be packaged were mostly our furnitures.

Now Palomino was (finally) part of the past...almost... as we spent a couple of afternoon cleaning up the place in order to return it as soon as possible. In fact, we faced some penalties (two months rent) as we decided to break the lease (planned in the budget, of course).
We tried to fight a little bit to avoid paying it, but not knowing what were our rights and obligation here in the US, we finally settled what was requested. For the story, I just received the letter informing me that everything was ok (June 25th 2012).
Pffff!!! what a day...time to go to sleep now:
