10 November 2012 - Mila getting ready for the ski season

This year, we have decided to bring Mila to the mountains and teach her how to ski. 3 years old, almost four, is a good time to start.

We already bought her a pair of ski last year, but they were simply not for her anymore; she needs to have real equipment.

"Lucky Bumps" (http://luckybums.comis a great sport brand for kids and they have a all bunch of equipments to teach kids how to ski:

Mila lucky bumps ski and poles

We also bought her a "ski trainer"

...but this year, we are going to bring her on the big slopes, so she needs serious equipments!

A new helmet (pink, of course)!

...or maybe she will go for a snowboard...

Finally, she decided to go for a yellow pair of ski!!!

There are very good options for renting ski equipment for kids and the best deals can be found at "Colorado Ski and Golf" (http://www.coloradoskiandgolf.com). A pair of ski boots and a pair of ski cost $100.- a season. At the end of it, bring back your used equipment, and get $50.- cash back...that you can reinvest in new equipments for the new season.

There is no snow yet, but we are all hoping for a more snowy winter this season.
